Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Beatreel (the "Service"), operated by Beatreel ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Beatreel does

Beatreel turns audio you upload into a music video by analyzing the track, writing a shot list, generating or using images, and editing them into a video file. Some steps use third-party AI models (currently OpenAI and fal.ai). Output quality varies and is not guaranteed.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the audio, images, text and other material you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content only as needed to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, including music, lyrics and pictures, and for making sure your use of the Service does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.

3. Generated output

Subject to these Terms and to the terms of the AI providers, you may use the videos and images the Service produces for you ("Output") for any lawful purpose, including commercially. AI-generated Output may be similar to output generated for other users and may not be eligible for copyright protection in some jurisdictions; we make no promises about that. You must not represent AI-generated people as real people.

4. Acceptable use

• No content that is illegal, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, hateful, harassing, or that depicts real people without their consent.
• No uploading of material you do not have rights to.
• No attempts to overload, reverse-engineer, scrape or interfere with the Service, or to circumvent credit limits.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.

5. Credits, plans and payment

Videos are paid for with credits. Credits are granted by subscription plans each billing period or bought as one-off packs. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from the Credits page and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice; changes apply from your next billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe under their terms.

6. Storage and deletion

Finished videos on free accounts are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Paid accounts keep videos while the subscription is active. We may delete uploads and generated frames after a video is finished. Keep your own copies of anything important.

7. Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it running but do not guarantee uptime, render times, or that any particular video will be produced. Third-party AI providers may refuse certain prompts; in that case the affected credit is returned.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Sections 2, 3, 8 and 10 survive termination.

10. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version. Contact: hello@beatreel.app.
